Creating Text Messages
Before using the messages service, you need to set the message center number. For more
information, please refer to "Messages/Settings/Text Message Settings" on page
A text message to be sent can contain 160 English letters or 70 Chinese characters at most. If
the characters you entered are more than this limit, the text will be divided into two or more
continuous messages for sending.

In the main menu, select Messages

Select New SMS, and press

From the screen of editing the message, select Options:
You may select one of the text entry methods to enter the message contents.
Selecting Common phrases, you can speed up the text entry.
Selecting Insert number, you can insert a phone number saved on the phone
or the USIM card.
Press
