On the main menu screen, select Settings > Connect > Modem setup and set

the port to USB modem.

Install the HUAWEI U526 Mobile Phone PC Assistant coming with your U526
phone package: Insert the CD carrying the application software, select
Instruction to install driver and then click Continue. Then, follow the
prompts to complete the installation.

Connect your phone and PC with the USB cable.

Make sure that there is USB Modem in the Modem of the Device manager of
your PC.

On your PC, you can select Network Connections from the Control Panel
and click Create a new connect. Then you can follow the guides to create a
new connection.

Execute the new connection to dial up.
SD Card Reader
You can use the USB cable to read the files saved on the SD card.
On the main menu screen, select Settings > Connect > SD card reader, and press
access it.
Follow these steps to use the SD card reader:
1. Insert the SD card to your phone.
2. Select Connect > SD card reader > On.
3. Connect your phone and PC with the USB cable.
