Hoisting an Elliptical Waveguide
CAUTION
Install elliptic waveguide clamps in advance. After laying out the

elliptical waveguide, fasten it using the clamps.

Bend the E plane of the elliptical waveguide.
•When hoisting the elliptical waveguide, wrap its connector with

cloth or fur.
•When hoisting the elliptical waveguide, avoid damage to the
elliptical waveguide connector from striking any other objects.
•Use strings to tie the two ends of each hoisting grip.
•Wrap the force-bearing parts of hoist grips with cloth or fur for
protection.
•Do not remove hoisting grips before clamps are installed.
When hoisting the elliptical waveguide, do not stretch it tightly and
keep it loose.
When pulling the elliptical waveguide, prevent the friction of the
waveguide against the ground by using a pulley to support the
waveguide or by spreading a plastic cushion on the ground.

Control the rotating speed of the drum when hoisting the elliptical
waveguide.
After hoisting the elliptical waveguide to the installation position,
use a string to fasten the waveguide.
