Check of Spindle Motor, Inverter, and Converter

• To check the converter, you must turn off the power and wait for 5 minutes before accessing inside
the unit. Be sure to wait until the "CHARGE
has been discharged completely.
Otherwise, you may receive an electric shock or may be injured.

2.3 Check of Spindle Motor, Inverter, and Converter

Criteria
Inverter/Converter: 0-55 °C
(Non-congelation)
Motor: 0-40 °C
95%RH or less
(Non-condensation)
Intake/exhaust air shall flow
smoothly.
Shall be within a range from -15%
to +10% in comparison with rated
voltage.
Shall be within a rated current and
no frequently change.
Contamination shall not be
excessive than normal.
Shall be free from abnormal
vibration or increase in the
amplitude.
Smell of burning is not allowed.
Shall be free from abnormal sound
or increase in noise level.
Shall be free from abnormal
temperature rise.

Corrective action
Improve installation environment
so that the values may become
within standard ranges.
Remove any obstacles blocking
smooth airflow.
Adjust the voltage within standard
range (by using different
transformer tap or so).
Adjust a load.
If contamination is excessive,
clean them.
If allowable limit is exceeded,
stop the system and remove any
cause.

if the cooling devices such as fan
