The path is Software Downloads > Unified Communication > IP Phone > Version (For
example, IP Phone V100R001C02) > software.
Double-click the config.xml file, and modify parameter settings.
Each configuration file parameter is in .xml format and consists of multiple items. Each item
consists of the parameter name, value, and description.

lists the commonly used parameters and their settings.
For parameter description, see Table 1 in the Advanced Configuration and Table 1 in the Individual
Account Configuration.
When modifying the template, you are advised to comment out unnecessary parameters. If you want
to use these parameters again, delete the comment characters.

Description
Mode of obtaining the phone's IP address.
 0: Obtain the IP address through DHCP
 1: Use a static IP address.
 2: Obtain the IP address through PPPoE
The default value is 0.
Time zone of a phone.
If the phone is not located in a defined time zone,
set this parameter to customize, and set the P246
parameter at the same time.
The default value is TZY-8.
