Battery
Under normal operating conditions, the Weather Sensor battery
can last up to five years. A weak battery condition in the sensor
is indicated on the EVOLUTION controller: the red LED will
flash and you will be prompted to check the Alerts screen. A
weak battery can result in loss of communication with the sensor.
To replace the battery:
1. The battery is stored in the upper half of the sensor
housing. To access the battery, release and remove the
upper housing by twisting it clockwise.
2. Disconnect the battery wire clip. Remove and replace the
used battery with a fresh 9V Alkaline battery. Reconnect
the battery wire clip.
