Dual sensor brake support

Dual sensor brake support detects
front vehicles and pedestrians by laser
radar and monocular cameras while
traveling,
alerts
collisions, and reduces damage at the
time of collision by brake control.
 When the dual sensor brake support
is activated, operation continues even
if the accelerator pedal is operated.
However,
Pressing the accelerator pedal strongly
will release the operation.
 Depressing the brake pedal or
operating the steering wheel may
cause the dual sensor brake support
not to operate depending on the
operating condition, as a preventive
operation.
 Dual Sensor Brake support is
mainly aimed at avoiding collisions to
vehicles and pedestrians or reducing
damage caused by collisions but it is
not possible to detect vehicles and
pedestrians under all circumstances.
 Dual sensor brake support can be
deactivated.
