Damage to the PRO device
Screws made from incorrect materials and screws of an incorrect dimension may damage the PRO device.
Only use the supplied screws.
Do not exceed the permissible torque
When you tighten the screws with an excessive torque, you can damage the screws and threading in the enclosure.
Observe the torques specified for the screws.

Warranty at risk
If you do not install the Extension Unit in accordance with the specifications in this Product Information, the warranty for the
Extension Unit is void.
Always install the Extension Unit according to this Product Information.
IP65 degree of protection at risk
If there are no seals on the mechanical interfaces or if they are damaged, IP65 degree of protection is at risk. Check the
condition and proper seating of the seals.
Installing the Extension Unit enclosure
1. Attach the basic adapter with 4 M4x12 screws from the accessory kit of the basic adapter from below to the PRO device
with a torque of 2.5 Nm.
2. Use the two countersunk screws M4x30 from the PRO HD LR Ext. accessory kit to fasten the two connection pieces in
the threaded holes with a torque of 2.5 Nm.
3. Insert the two lightly lubricated small 9 x 2 mm sealing rings from the Extension Unit accessory kit in the recess of the
connection pieces.
4. Use two pan head screws M4x20 from the PRO HD LR Ext. accessory kit to fasten the Extension Unit enclosure to both
connection pieces with a torque of 2.5 Nm.
5. Remove the cover of the basic adapter on the side where the Extension Unit is to be fitted.
6. Replace the seal below the cover of the basic adapter with a lightly pre-greased sealing ring (29.82 x 2.62 mm) from the
Extension Unit accessory kit.
7. Attach the cover of the basic adapter with two M4x12 countersunk screws from the Extension Unit accessory kit from
above to the housing of the Extension Unit with a torque of 0.8 Nm.
