Mounting and connecting the PRO device
Permitted mounting positions
The same mounting positions and ambient temperatures that are specified in the underlying operating instructions apply to
the device.
Mounting the PRO device
The same specifications in the underlying operating instructions apply to mounting the device. Read the information on
installation and, depending on the selected mounting type, the corresponding subsection:
● For support arm mounting, see the section "Mounting and connecting the device > Mounting the PRO device > PRO
devices, suitable for support arm and extension components".
● For pedestal mounting, see the section "Mounting and connecting the device > Mounting the PRO device > PRO
devices, suitable for support arm / pedestal and extension components".
After installing the PRO device, you can mount one or more Extension Units to the PRO device.
Install plastic screws in unused threaded holes
If you mount none or only one Extension Unit to the PRO device, install one
M4x10 plastic screw each from the supplemental accessory kit PRO HD LR Ext.
with a torque of 0.2 Nm in all threaded holes on the back of the PRO device.
Use the slot bit from the supplemental accessory kit PRO HD LR Ext to fasten the
screws.
Mounting and connecting the Extension Unit
Notes about usage
The Extension Unit is always installed to a PRO device. The safety instructions and notes on use listed in the documentation
of the PRO device as well as the safety instructions and notes on use in the documentation of the Extension Units apply to
the entire system PRO device with Extension Unit.
Establish the installation position
An Extension Unit is fastened with two connection pieces each from the supplemental accessory kit PRO HD LR Ext. to the
rear of the device; these connection pieces can be seen shining through in light gray in the figure below.
The connection pieces from the accessory kit of the Extension Units are not suitable for mounting the Extension Units to the
device.
