Removal and installation of
engine rear seal
Removal
1. Remove the hydraulic pump assembly refer-
ring to the section "Removal and installation of
hydraulic pump assembly".
2. Remove damper assembly (1).
3. Install the sling to flywheel (2) and lift off the fly-
wheel.

Flywheel: 40 kg
4. Disconnect connector CRANK (3).

5. Temporarily sling engine assembly, and remove
engine rear side mount bracket.

6. Remove 12 mounting bolts (4) and lift off fly-
wheel housing (5).

7. Remove 4 mounting bolts (indicated by the
arrows) of the oil pan, 8 mounting bolts (6), and
rear seal and housing assembly (7).
8. Remove rear seal (8) from seal housing (9).
