Removing the HORIZON Disk Drives

support Drive #2
with your left
hand, to protect
the circuit board
on Drive 11.
Use a
Phillips screw-
driver to remove
the two recessed
screws (reached
through the access
holes) that attach
drive #2 to the
disk drive mounting
bracket.

Be careful not to
touch the disk
drive assembly if
you use a magnet-
tized screwdriver
to remove the
screws.

Hote:
Do not re-use the two screws you just removed from
Drive #2 when you install the hard disk drive.
Use two of
the #6-62 x 1/4" screws supplied in the shipping kit.
7.
Pull drive #2 out of the front of the HORIZON.
It may be
necessary to loosen the drive, by moving it Slightly from
side to Side, before it slides forward.
