Self Diagnosis Display
Display Blinking Informs that
Slow The battery pack is almost
discharged
NO STICK! Slow No memory stick is inserted
STICK FULL! Slow Not enough space for saving pictures
NO IMAGE! Slow There are no images recorded to play
FILE ERROR! Slow The image file has an error
STICK ERROR! Slow Memory stick is formatted by other
device or has error in system folder
NOT FORMATTED! Slow Memory stick needs to be formatted
If these instructions do not solve your problem, contact your nearest Samsung dealer or authorized service center/personnel.
Symptom Possible Causes
No power is supplied The power is not connected properly
The battery is dead
The battery is too cold
LCD monitor is blank Multi-AV cable is connected
Display option is turned off
DATE/TIME is wrong The DATE/TIME is not set
Focus does not adjust automatically Focus is set to manual mode

Set proper white balance, page 63
Turn off the digital special effects, page 48
Remove the protection tab of memory stick
Remove the lock on the file, page 84
Adjust the brightness and angle of LCD
Low temperatures might produce a dark LCD display
This is not a malfunction
Close the LCD monitor to turn if off,
or turn your device off to cool down
