7 MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
STN-type
Remove the backligt cable connecter
from the display unit connector.
TFT-type

• To dispose of, please treat the back light as an industrial waste.

and then pull it out in the b direction.

Remove the backligt cable connecter
from the display unit connector.
CAUTION
!
5) Set the GOT front up and unplug the cable
connector of the backlight from the connector of
the display device.
Remove the connectors in two places at top and
bottom of the device for the STN, or the
connector in one place at top for the TFT.
6) Remove the backlight from the display device.
Remove two backlights at top and bottom of the
display for the STN, or one at top for the TFT.
7) Fit a new backlight in the reverse procedure of
removal.
To install the display unit, please follow the
procedure reverse to that for removing. Please
make sure to install the display unit securely
and apply a torque within the torque range as
specified to the fixing screws for the GOT.
