To install the PuTTY, perform the following procedure:
1.
Insert the Support disc into the disk drive.
The autostart page appears.
2.
Using Windows Explorer, go to the

Double-click putty-0.59-installer.exe to start the PuTTY installation.
An Open File security alert message appears.

Click RUN.
The Welcome to the PuTTY Setup Wizard appears.
5.
Click Next.
The Select Destination Location page appears.
6.
Accept the default installation path or type a new path, then click Next.
The Select Start menu folder page appears.
7.
Accept the default components, if appropriate, choose a language for
translation, then click Next.

Accept the default

The Select Additional Tasks page appears.

Select the appropriate tasks to complete, then click Next.
The Ready to Install page appears.

Verify that the settings are correct, then click Install.

Configuring PuTTY

To configure PuTTY, perform the following procedure:
1.
On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Programs > PuTTY > PuTTY.
The PuTTY Configuration page appears.
2.
Use a network crossover cable to connect the voice board to a computer.
3.
Type in the Host Name (or IP address) field.
The IP address for the voice mail is assigned in chassis programming 10-
55-xx. At default this address is 172.16.1.xxx, where .xxx will vary
depending upon which slot the CD-VM00 was installed. Starting with slot
1 this will be .100, slot 2 will be .101, slot 5 will be .104 and so on.
4.
Click Open.
When the first connection is made, a warning message appears. The
Utilities/RemoteAccess/Putty/
folder name or type a new name, then click
Start Menu
check box, then click Finish.
