Parameterizing, saving and documenting the configuration with COM ET 200 Windows
Creating a file You create a new program file when you
1. Start COM ET 200 Windows and
2. in COM ET 200 Windows, select File
3. Enter the parameters in the Master host selection dialog box and
4. press "OK" to confirm.
Result: A new program file is created with the designation "noname.et2".
In addition, a window bearing the title "Master system: station number X" is
opened and you can start parameterization of a master system.
Opening a
There are two ways of opening an existing program file:

If you want to import data from a memory card,

Remember, too, that the memory card drivers have to be loaded beforehand,
i.e. when MS-WINDOWS starts.
The order numbers are listed in Appendix F.
Importing data
If you want to load data from a memory card, the memory card must be
from memory card
connected to the memory card interface of the programmer.
To load the data, select File
Result: The data of a master system is available in the program file opened
by these commands.
Note
You cannot reconstruct the entire bus system and store the configuration in a
single program file until you have imported the data from all the memory
cards, each of which contains the data for a single master system. This data
in its entirety constitutes the map of the bus-system configuration.
