Setting options and additional information

Changes the direction of the adjustment when operating the control dial on the camera or on an
optional SG-1 Shoulder Style Grip Unit attached to the camera, respectively.
[Reverse], [Normal]
Changes the direction of the adjustment when operating the SELECT dial on the camera, or on an
optional OU-700 Remote Operation Unit or optional EVF-V70 OLED Electronic Viewfinder attached to
the camera, respectively.
[Linked], [Separated]
When an optional OU-700 Remote Operation Unit is connected to the camera, this setting determines
if the C buttons on the camera and the OU-700 lock only local controls ([Separated]) or if either will
lock all the controls, both on the camera and on the OU-700 ([Linked]).
[All Buttons], [All Except REC Button]
Selects whether to lock all buttons (including REC buttons) or all buttons with the exception of
currently enabled REC buttons).
[Disable], [Enable]
Independently enables or disables the use of individual REC buttons on the camera (on the left side
next to the control display, on the front, or on the right side next to the card slots), or on an optional
SG-1 Shoulder Style Grip Unit or optional OU-700 Remote Operation Unit attached to the camera.
[High], [Low], [Off]

These settings determine whether the following LEDs and indicators will illuminate.
[Button Illumination]: Controls the illumination of physical buttons on the camera or on an optional
OU-700 Remote Operation Unit connected to the camera. Buttons that illuminate when you select
an option other than [Off] are indicated in the
[Tally Lamp]: The tally lamp on the camera or on an optional OU-700 Remote Operation Unit
connected to the camera. Note that regardless of this setting, when the camera is turned off, the
tally lamps will illuminate in red momentarily after the Q button is pressed.
[Media Access]: The CFast card access indicators and SD card access indicator when the camera is
accessing the respective recording media.
[LAN (Ethernet)]: The
(Ethernet) indicator when the camera is accessing a wired network.
