Description
IPv6 settings for the TE30.
Mode for obtaining an IP address.
Static IP: Your network
administrator assigns an IP
address to your TE30. If you
select this option, you must
also set Local IP address,
Subnet mask, and Gateway
address.
Dynamic IP: When a DHCP
server is available on the
network, your TE30
automatically obtains an IP
address using the Dynamic
Host Configuration Protocol
(DHCP).
IP address and subnet mask of
your TE30.
To enable the TE30 to
automatically obtain the NMS
server settings from the SMC 2.0,
ensure that the IP address of the
TE30 is in the same network
segment as that of the SMC 2.0.

Setting
Gateway address. The TE30 will
then use IPv4 or IPv6 to
communicate with another endpoint
based on the endpoint's support for
IPv6.
The default value is Static IP.
If you have set NMS server, select
Static IP for this parameter.
Contact your network
administrator.
If an IP address conflict occurs,
change this IP address to one in the
specified IP address range. For example, if
the IP address range is 192.168.1.1 through
192.168.1.100, and the current IP address
is 192.168.1.2, change the section in
bold while ensuring that the new IP
address is still in the IP address range.
Examples:
IPv4 address: 192.168.1.1
IPv6 address:
2000:0:0:0:200:55:26:1
