Battery Storage
1.
The batteries should be stored with a full charge. Discharged
batteries can freeze faster than charged batteries in cold
temperatures.
2.
The battery charger should remain connected to the charging
port on the rider when not in use.
3.
If keeping the charger connected during off-season storage is
not possible, the batteries should be fully charged once every
month.
NOTE: It will take approximately 16 hours to fully charge the
batteries. Leaving the batteries connected to the charger
for more than 16 hours will not damage the batteries.
4.
Batteries should not be kept in a discharged state. Permanent
damage to the batteries can occur.
5.
Fully charge batteries once a month during off-season storage.
6.
Fully recharge the batteries before returning to service.
