Serial Cable

Prerequisite: The steps outlined in Power Cable have been completed and the cradle has a dependable power source.
The serial cable port is located on the back of the cradle. Only approved Honeywell cables are to be used for serial
communication between the cradle and external devices. Contact
Connect a female DB9 connector to the male DB9 serial port on the back of the cradle. The connection should be finger tight.
The DB9M cradle connector provides limited RS232 functionality, as the following pinout table shows.
Note: Pin 9 of this port does not have power capability. The HX3 and HX2 cradle do not support tethered scanners.
