TERMINAL SERVICE
This section describes the installation and connection of terminal service (server/client).
Installation of Terminal Service in CPU Blade
Installation for Windows Server 2003
1.
Insert the Windows Server 2003 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
2.
<If the proper dialog box automatically appears once the CD-ROM is inserted>
Click on [Install optional Windows components].
<If the dialog box does not appear once the CD-ROM is inserted >

Click on [Start], highlight [Control Panel], and click on [Add or Remove Programs].

Click on [Add/Remove Windows components].
3.
Turn on the [Terminal Server] check box in the component list.
4.
Turn off the [Terminal Server Licensing] check box if it is set to ON.
This service is not required in the remote management mode.
Click on [Next].
5.
Run the Terminal Server setup wizard, read the notices in the dialog box carefully, and
then click on [Next].
6.
Check [Full Security] in the [Select default permissions for application compatibility]
dialog box.
Start the configuring components setup wizard .
Follow the on-screen messages to proceed with the installation.
7.
Click on [Finish] to close the dialog box once the installation is completed. If requested,
restart the CPU blade.
