When the hard disk type of RAID Group is SSD or SATA, select the button next to Controller
A or Controller B. The created a batch LUNs are located in the controller.
When the hard disk type of RAID Group is FC, select the button next to Controller A,
Controller B or Auto Selected option.
Select the button next to Auto Selected, the created a batch LUNs select controller A and
controller B in sequence as owning controller.
Select the button next to Controller A or Controller B. The created a batch LUNs are
located in the controller.
Description
This parameter indicates the name of the created LUN. Note the
following when you set the parameter.

Displays the RAID group which the LUN to be created belongs to.

This parameter indicates the capacity of the created LUN. Note the

This parameter specifies the controller whose LUN is to be created.
All the host I/O requests on the LUN will be processed by the
ascription controller firstly.
This parameter indicates the stripe unit size of the LUN. When setting
this parameter, note that:

Table 3-5
describes the parameters for creating a LUN.
The name must be unique.
The name can contain letters, numbers, underscores (_), and
hyphens (-), and the first character cannot be a hyphen.
The name contains 1 to 32 characters.
The total number of LUNs in all RAID groups can be up to 2048.
The maximum capacity is the remaining capacity of the RAID
group that the LUN belongs to.
The unit can be MB, GB, or TB.
NOTE
After you enter the capacity in the MB/GB/TB unit field, select 0 KB or
512 KB.
The unit is KB.
The default value is 64 KB.
Affecting the I/O performance, the stripe unit size must be selected properly
for different applications. For example, if the system stores much data arranged
in a certain order, for example, media data, set a large stripe unit size. If the
system stores much random data, for example, transaction data, set a small
stripe unit size.
