Water Level Control - Timer
Controlled
There are two types of controls used on
the water level switch: Rotary control
and infinite level control.
Rotary Dial Control
Infinite Level Control
ROTARY DIAL CONTROL
The amount of water in the tub is
selected by adjusting the dial that cor-
responds to that level.
The large capacity model has a four-
level pressure switch: EX-Small, Small,
Medium and Large.
The super large capacity model has a
five-level pressure switch: Ex-Small,
Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.
The service procedures are the same
for both.
The water level is controlled by varying
the pressure exerted on the switch
diaphragm when the desired level is
selected. For example, assume that the
extra-large water level is selected for
the "Fill" portion of the cycle. The
control arm "A" will lock in position on
bar (8), thus depressing the tension
bar. As the tension bar is depressed,
the spring (C) between the bar and
switch is depressed, exerting pressure
against the diaphragm in the switch,
which will hold the electrical contact in
the "Fill" position.
