Setting the Time and Date (Auto Time Setup)

Your HDTV Tuner uses the signal from a digital channel to set the time automatically. So, in order to set the time on your HDTV Tuner,
you need to make sure you're tuned to a digital channel (on the AIR input) that you have no trouble receiving.

Setting the Screen Ratio

Your HDTV Tuner works with both widescreen (16:9) and regular 4:3 monitors or TVs. Choose the aspect ratio that matches your monitor
or TV.
Chapter 1: Connections & Setup
To set the time and date automatically:
1. Press MENU on your remote.
2. Use the arrow down button to highlight Setup, and press OK.
3. In the Setup menu, highlight Time and press OK.
4. In the Time menu, highlight Daylight Saving Time and press OK.
5. The next screen asks you if your region observes Daylight Saving Time. Important: You
don't need to be on daylight saving time now to answer Yes. Use the up and down arrow
buttons to highlight Yes or No and press OK.
6. Press MENU to return to the Time menu. In the Time menu, highlight Time Zone and
press OK.
7. The Time Zone menu asks your for your time zone. Use the left and right arrow buttons
to highlight your time zone and press OK.
If the tuner is receiving a digital signal, it uses the time zone and daylight-saving time
information you entered to set the time.
8. Press CLEAR to exit the menu system.
To set the screen ratio:
1. Press MENU on your remote.
2. Use the arrow down button to highlight Setup, and press OK.
3. In the Setup menu, highlight Screen Format and press OK.
4. Use the up and down arrows on the remote to choose your TV or monitor's aspect ratio
– either 4:3 (for a regular 4:3 TV) or 16:9 (for a widescreen TV or monitor). Press OK to
select.
5. Press CLEAR to exit the menu system.
