System Ground Connection

The back of the DGS-6604 has two working ground connections on its back panel. The grounds must be well
treated to provide adequate protection for the system. The grounding connections must be directly connected to
the ground pole or the ground bar of the equipment room.

Grounding Precautions

• The maximum possible current should determine the sectional area of the grounding cable. The
grounding cable should be of a good conduction quality.
• Never use bare wire.
• The combined grounding should have a grounding resistance that is less than 1Ω.

Simple Grounding Steps

1. Release the nut on the Switch's rear grounding post.
2. Lock the grounding cable's terminal to the grounding pole.
3. Tighten the nut.
4. Connect the related terminals according to steps 1-3 and Figure and grounding diagram.
