15.1
Cordless Handset Registration
Important:
When you purchase your phone system, all handsets are already registered to your base, so you
do not need to register them. Handset registration is only necessary when you buy extra cordless
handsets or if a cordless handset has become faulty.
You can register up to four handsets to one base station, with each handset's number (1 to 4) shown
on its display.
Note:
Each handset can only be registered to one base.
You need to enter the Master PIN before you can register or unregister handsets. The default Master
PIN is 0000.

Register Additional Cordless Handsets
In standby mode, press and hold the key

on the corded base will flash in Red for up to 1 minute, and the base will beep, while it is in
registration mode.
On the cordless handset, press

to "ADVANCED SET" and then press

to "REGISTRATION" and then press
>If no action is taken on the handset within 10 seconds, the registration procedure will be aborted.
If this happens, repeat from step 1.
Enter the Master PIN and then press
Note:
The default Master PIN is 0000.
>"WAITING" flashes on the screen.
>A confirmation tone is played to indicate successful registration, and the handset will return to
standby mode, with its handset number displayed.
>If no base is found with the entered PIN, error tones are played to indicate failed registration and
the handset returns to standby mode. You will need to repeat from step 1 above.
15.3
Un-register your Cordless Handset
You can unregister the cordless handset you are using, or any other handset registered to the same
base.
From the home screen, press
