Playback options

To check the position of the buttons below, see the illustration on page 32.
Buttons
/ (instant replay/
instant advance)
. (previous)/
> (next)
(fast reverse/fast forward)
X (pause)
To resume normal playback, press H.
To watch TV in the sub-picture (Picture-in-
Picture)
You can view a current TV broadcast in the sub-
picture during playback.
Press PIP during playback.
A sub-picture appears in the corner with a TV
programme being broadcast.
To change the programme position for the sub-
picture, press M/m.
To move the sub-picture position, press </,.
To turn off the sub-picture, press PIP again.

Operations
Replays the scene/briefly fast forwards the scene.
Goes to the beginning of the previous/next chapter point. Chapter points are
marked in about five minute intervals.
Fast reverses/fast forwards the disk when pressed during playback.
Search speed changes as follows:

(slow) Plays in slow motion when pressed in pause mode.
The speed changes as follows:
Pauses playback.

Note
• You cannot switch the main and the sub-picture.
• You can only change channels for the picture appearing
in the sub-picture.
