7. Replacing the Batteries and Fuses

7.1 Replacing the Batteries

When the battery voltage falls below the operating voltage,
Follow the procedure below to replace the batteries.
WARNING
• To avoid electrical shock, be sure to disconnect the CA0 from the circuit under
measurement.
(Remove the test leads and lead cables as well.)
• Turn the CA0 off.
• Do not measure while the case is open. Doing so may lead to electric shock.
CAUTION
• Do not mix different types of batteries or mix old batteries with new batteries.
• Insert the batteries with their polarities in the directions indicated by the holder.
Replacement Procedure
) Remove the fastening screw on the back of the CA0's case.
2) Open the case.
) Replace each of the four batteries with a new battery.
) Return the case to its original position, and tighten the fastening screw.
