    N450 WiFi Cable Modem Router Model N450/CG3000Dv2 Set Up Your Wireless Network To set up the wireless network, you can enter the wireless settings manually, or you can use Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). To wirelessly connect to the modem router, a computer or wireless device must be configured with the same wireless settings as the modem router.

To reduce interference when using more than one access point, NETGEAR recommends using five-channel spacing between adjacent access points (for example, use Channels 1 and 6, or 6 and 11).

    WPS is relatively new technology, so before you decide to use it, check to make sure that your wireless computers and devices support WPS. NETGEAR calls WPS Push 'N' Connect. Look for the WPS symbol on all the computers that connect wirelessly to the modem router.
