Check that the belt is properly installed on the pulley with a 90'
twist between the drive pulley and the idler pulley. Be sure the "V"
of the belt goes in the "V" of the pulley.
- 5. Start the engine, move the hydraulic cylinder selector lever (optional
part) to "FRONT", and raise the cutter deck fully with the hydraulic
lift lever.
- 6. Turn the descent speed adjust knob fully clockwise to prevent
descent.

7. Stop the engine and remove the key from the engine switch.
- 8. Screw in the belt tension adjust knob until the tensioner arm con-
tacts the stopper on the frame.

- 9. Return the descent speed adjust knob to the original position.

The cutter deck will automatically lower to the ground as the
descent speed adjust knob is turned counterclockwise. Keep clear of the
deck.
