3. Receiving Faxes

Using FAX Mode

To select FAX mode, press
arrow in the display points to FAX.
When the reception mode is set to FAX, the fax machine will automatically
answer all calls on one ring and receive incoming faxes.

If you answer on an extension phone connected to the same line before the
machine answers, you can talk to the other party and/or receive a fax as
explained in Using TEL Mode on page 61.
Changing the number of rings
If desired, you can change the number of rings on which the fax machine
answers incoming calls in FAX mode. Any number from 1 to 5 can be
selected.
