Turning on the appliance and setting the thermostat

o You switch on your appliance by connecting it to your mains
supply.
o The FREEZER and REFRIGERATOR neons will light red.
o Press the TEMP.CONTROL button to cycle through the
temperature settings. A green neon will light to indicate what
setting you have currently selected.
o Keep pressing the TEMP.CONTROL button until the neon of the
temperature setting that you desire is lit.
o After releasing the TEMP.CONTROL button, the setting that you
have selected will flash for a few seconds. When it is
permanently lit, the temperature setting is fixed.
o The thermostat automatically regulates the temperature inside
the fridge freezer, depending on the setting that you have
selected.
o If you want to alter the temperature setting, press the
TEMP.CONTROL button until the required temperature neon
(LOW, MID or HIGH) is lit.
o You should not put food in either the fridge or freezer
until the FREEZER and REFRIGERATOR neons have turned
green.
o IMPORTANT: The ambient temperature of the room, the
temperature of food and the amount of food that has been
placed in the fridge freezer and how often the door is opened,
will all affect the temperature being maintained by the appliance.
o You can select either the LOW (2), MID (3) or HIGH (4)
temperature setting for normal operation of the fridge freezer.
We would recommend that the MID temperature setting should
be used for the appliance to work at its optimum level.
o On the maximum setting (HIGH), your fridge freezer will work
harder to maintain a lower temperature. There is no need to run
your appliance on this setting for prolonged periods and you
should return the temperature setting to MID.
