Air Filter Maintenance

lacement

operating conditions. Your Honda de-
aler can help you to determine the
freq uency
of cleaning or replacing
the
element.
1. Remove air
filter
cover
2. Remove air fil ter element.
3. Wash air filter element

in dean
stoddard solvent and al low to dry

t horoughly.
4. Soak air filter element in clean gear
oil
(No. 80--No. 90)
until
saturated,
then squeeze out excess oil .
5. Rei nstal I air filter element.
6 . Rei nstal I air fi lter cover.
