Conta:ct Breaker Point Gap and
Ignition Timing

Adjustment of

to
maintain satisfactory engine perform-
ance.
1. Remove the left crankcase cover.
2. Rotate t he f lywheel counterclockwise
to
find t he point where the breaker
point gap

is at maximum and
check

gauge.
3. The standard gap is 0.012-0.016
in. (0.3- 0.4mm.) .
4. When adj ustment is necessa ry, loosen
the breaker locking screw
