4. Open the cover to your charging socket on your
vehicle.
5. Remove the protective cover (3) from the vehicle
side charging coupler (2).
6. Connect the charging coupler (2) to the charging
socket on the vehicle.
The charging process will start automatically.
The vehicle will lock the charging coupler and
prompts charging. The charging coupler will remain
locked during charging. The charging coupler can
only be disconnected once charging has completed
or has been cancelled.

Cancelling the charging process

The charging process can be cancelled if you wish
to use your vehicle before it is fully charged.
DaNGER!
Risk of electric shock and fire!
Always stop the charging process before discon-
necting the charging coupler from the vehicle.
aTTENTION!
Risk of damage!
Never unplug the charging coupler from the vehicle
when the charging coupler is locked.
The process should always be cancelled using the
vehicle's controls. If unable to do so for safety rea-
sons (e.g. vehicle on fire), switch off the building's
circuit breaker.

Stopping the charging process

When the vehicle is fully charged, the vehicle will
stop the charging process and unlock the charging
coupler.
aTTENTION!
Always first disconnect the charging coupler from
the vehicle. Then disconnect the charging coupler
from the external charging station.
1. Disconnect the charging coupler (2) from the
charging socket on the vehicle.
2. Attach the protective cover (3) to the charging
coupler (2).
3. Close the cover to the vehicle's charging socket.
4. Disconnect the charging coupler (1) from the
charging socket of the external charging station.
5. Attach the protective cover (3) to the charging
coupler (1).
6. Cover the charging socket on the charging
station.
