Run the cables so as not to cause
•
tripping hazards and the cables
cannot be damaged by e.g. objects
with sharp edges! Do not run cables
across hot surfaces!
Avoid pouring or dripping water or
•
other liquids over it. If water pen-
etrates electrical devices, the risk of
electric shock increases.
•
Verify all plugs and cables are free
from dirt, moisture, snow and ice.
Never connect the device to the
charging station or vehicle with wet
hands.
•
Verify the mains voltage matches
the input voltage specified on the
device (480 V AC) to prevent dam-
age to the device.
Do not use extension cables, cable
•
reels, power strips or adapters to
connect to the charging station or
vehicle
•
Only use the connectors included
with the charging cable.
•
Never apply oil, grease or contact
spray to the contacts of the connec-
tors.
•
Always observe the plug sequence.
•
Always first connect the station side
charging coupler to the external
charging station. Then connect the
vehicle side charging coupler to the
vehicle.
Always first disconnect the vehicle
•
side charging coupler from the
vehicle. Then disconnect the sta-
tion side charging coupler from the
external charging station.
The weight of the device must not
•
strain the device connectors. Ensure
the connectors are strain-free, e.g.
by supporting or rerouting the
cables.
•
Never disconnect the device during
charging.
Ensure the protective cover is
•
attached to the charging coupler
when the device is not in use.
•
Maintenance work must be done by
qualified electricians.
•
Do not attempt to disassemble or
repair the charging cable. If the
charging cable is damaged, have it
repaired or replaced by a speciality
shop immediately.
•
Do not cover the device as it may be
damaged from extreme heating.
•
Immediately stop using the device
if you notice smoke or an unusual
odour.
In summer we recommend reduc-
•
ing the rated power for charging to
prevent overheating and charging
stopping early.
