Explosion and fire
hazard!

Do not use the device in rooms
where explosive or flammable
substances are stored (e.g. petrol or
solvents).
Only connect the device to a prop-

erly installed charging station with
protective ground contacts and
residual current device (RCD). The
charging socket must also be easy
to access once connected.
Do not connect the device to
•
unearthed mains (e.g. IT power) or
mobile power generators.
•
Only use charging stations inspect-
ed by an electrician. Disregarding
this increases the risk of fire!
•
Outdoors, only connect the device
to splash-proof charging stations.
Keep the plug away from paper
•
clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or
other small metal objects which
could bridge the contacts. A short-
circuit between the contacts may
result in burns or fire.
Only connect the charging coupler
•
to IEC 62196-2 Type 2 charging
sockets. Do not connect non-
matching charging couplers and
charging sockets. Note the charging
point markings. Please refer to the
owner's manual for your vehicle.
•
Always place the device in a safe,
well-ventilated area.
•
Never expose the device to direct
sunlight.
•
Do not use the device in thunder-
storms. Disconnect the device from
the charging station and vehicle.
Risk of electrical shock!

Always unplug the cable by the
plug. The cable may otherwise be
damaged.
•
Unroll the cables completely before
using the device. Do not use the
device with the cables rolled up.
Protect the cables from damage. Do
•
not step on, pull on, bend or tie the
cable into a knot. Replace damaged
cables immediately!
•
Do not drive the vehicle over plugs
and cables. The device could be
damaged.
•
Do not use damaged cables. Dam-
aged cables increase the risk of
electric shock.
