When using DC power
The DC portion is designed to charge 12 Volt Automotive batteries
only. Before connecting the generator to the battery, make sure all
electrical items on the automobile are "off". After starting the gener-
ator, clamp the positive (*) lead of the charging wire to the positive
terminal of the battery and likewise the negative (—) terminal. You are
now ready to insert the male plug of the charging wire into the DC
receptacle of the generator.
CAUTION:
Do not overcharge battery and do not attempt to start automobile
with generator still connected to battery.
Do not connect any other DC appliance but the battery.

Bei Verwendung von Gleichstrom
Der
Gleichstromteil
wurde
nur zum
Aufladen
von
12-Volt-Autobatterien
entworfen.
Vor Anschluß
des
Generators
an die Batterie muR
die gesamte elektrische Ausrüstung des Fahrzeuges ausgeschaltet werden.
Schließen
Sie nach dem Anlassen des Generators die positive (+) Anschlußklemme
des Ladekabels an die
positive Polklemme der Batterie an und verbinden Sie auRerdem die negative (—) AnschluBklemme mit der
negativen Polklemme. Sie kónnen jetzt den Stecker des Ladekabels in die Gleichstrom-Steckdose des Gene-
rators stecken.
VORSICHT:
Batterie nicht überladen und Fahrzeug nicht mit an die angeschlossenem Generator anlassen.
Keine anderen Gleichstromgerate, sondern nur die Batterie anschlieRen.
