RS-232C commands
(Effective only in one-to-one communication with the
specified device)
T/D SEARCH 4 (B5H)
Initiates search for a specific time and date.
Send this command, followed by numeric data
commands 30H (0) to 39H (9) that specify the date and
time.

d1: Ten's digit of the year (30H to 39H)
d2: One's digit of the year (30H to 39H)
d3: Ten's digit of the month (30H or 31H)
d4: One's digit of the month (30H to 32H)
d5: Ten's digit of the day (30H to 33H)
d6: One's digit of the day (30H to 39H)
d7: Ten's digit of the hour (30H to 32H)
d8: One's digit of the hour (30H to 39H)
d9: Ten's digit of the minute (30H to 35H)
d10: One's digit of the minute (30H to 39H)
If data other than 30H to 39H are sent, ERROR (02H)
will be returned instead of ACK (0AH).
If a value out of the specified range is sent for any
digit, ERROR (02H) will be returned after ENTER
(40H) is sent.
Example: To search 5:10 on May 10, 2002

CLEAR (56H)
• Clears the T/D SEARCH 4 command while entering
the time and date values.
• If an error is generated by an invalid data input for
the T/D SEARCH 4 command, it cancels the
command to clear the error.
CLEAR ERROR (41H)
• Clears only the last entered numeric data command
while entering the time and date values for T/D
SEARCH 4.
• If an error is generated by an invalid data input for
the T/D SEARCH 4 command, it clears only the
invalid data item to clear the error.
RS-232C/RS-485 commands
REC REQUEST (FAH)
To be sent preceding a REC (CAH) command.
REC (CAH)
Starts recording when it is sent after REC REQUEST
(FAH).
In one-to-one communication with the specified
device:
Send REC (CAH) when ACK (0AH) is returned after
you send FAH.
