SUBNET MASK/GATEWAY/PORT: Set the values
according to the network to be connected.
ID/PASSWORD: Set the passwords for network
access (4 to 8 alphanumeric characters).
You can specify three levels of passwords, i.e. ID1,
ID2, and ID3, differing in operable functions.
ID1: Only monitoring the camera input and
playback images and stopping playback in
progress are allowed.
ID2: Operations related to playback and data
storage are allowed. Recording and menu
operations are not allowed.
ID3: All the operations using the buttons displayed
on the browser window are allowed.

Connections for Data Storage

Memory stick
Inserting a commercially available PC card adaptor
into the PC card slot on the front panel enables data
copying to memory sticks.

Open the cover of the slot
by pressing the lower right
corner.
To format a memory stick
By formatting a memory card, you can erase all
previous data in a memory stick to use.
Use the copy set display for formatting.

Insert the memory stick to be formatted into the PC
card adaptor set in the PC card slot of this unit.

Set the unit to Still-Picture mode and press the
COPY button.
The copy set display is superimposed on the
image.

CHANGE WITH JOG, SET WITH SHUTTLE

Turn the Jog dial to highlight FORMAT PC
CARD, and turn the Shuttle dial clockwise.
A confirmation message appears.
