Connect a suitable power source to the unit by doing the following steps:
1.
Only use a patch Ethernet cable to connect the power source and
the unit.
2.
Insert the RJ45 connector leading from the power source into the
Ethernet port labelled LAN1/POE.
5.1.4. Rebooting the firmware and resetting the unit to factory
defaults
The Cisco FM3200 Endo hardware can be rebooted and reset to factory
default condition using the procedures in this section.
To do a 'hard' (device firmware) reboot under emergency conditions (for
example, if the unit malfunctions), do the steps in the following sub-
section.

CAUTION
The unit is designed to take power through 48 Vdc Power-
over-Ethernet only, and does not have a dedicated power port.
Do not attempt to connect any other source of electrical power
to the unit.
The unit is designed to use PoE injectors conforming to both
IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af.
IMPORTANT
The following procedure shows how to do a 'hard' (device
firmware) reboot. To do a 'soft' (device software) reboot, refer
to
"Resetting the unit to factory defaults" (page
139).
