TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
The burner will not light.
The burner flame goes
off immediately after
ignition.
The ignition is delayed.
The combustion on the
burner is inadequate.
The burner flame is low.
The emitter glows
uneven.
There is slight smoke
and odor during initial
operation.
There is thick black
smoke.
The heater produces a
whistling noise when the
burner is lit.
Cause
The burner injector is
clogged.
There is low gas supply
pressure.
There is low gas

The main burner
carryover ports are
clogged.
There is low gas
pressure.
There is not enough air.
The supply hose is bent
or twisted.
There is blockage in the
burner injector.

Solution
Clean the burner injector.

approximately 30
minutes of operation.

Operate the burner until
the air is completely
purged.
