VX4792 User Manual
The VX4792 Arbitrary Waveform Generator is a double-wide, C-size module.
Major features include:
H Custom waveforms of up to 250 MS/s (4 ns/point of resolution)
H 12 bits of amplitude resolution
H 256 K words of waveform memory
H Single channel output
H A wide variety of trigger sources and modes
H Output disable
H Four selectable output filters
The waveform memory of the waveform generator is organized as waveform
segments. You can set segments to any size (with a step size of 8) from 64 to
256 K 12-bit words. You can also combine sequences of waveform segments into
custom waveforms.
The waveform generator has two marker channels. You can individually program
each marker to generate marker signals that correspond to any waveform data
point.
The waveform generator accepts triggers from VXIbus ECLTRG lines, software,
or the front-panel BNC connector.
Software codes and command formats generally conform to IEEE 488.2 and
VXIbus System Specification Revision 1.3.
