What To Put In Your Composter
The composting process will work best when you mix
moist Greens with dry browns in a ratio of approximately
one part greens (nitrogen enriched) to two parts Browns
(carbon enriched).
1. Begin with a scoop of regular garden soil to introduce the
required microbes for successful composting.

Cleaning the Composter
1. After emptying compost from the composter barrel, rinse
the inside thoroughly with a garden hose.
2. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials. They may scratch
the plastic and are not reccomended. Most stains can be
removed using a mild dish soap and a soft brush.
3. Wash the plastic panels using water, a mild dish soap and a
soft brush.
4. At the begining of each season, inspect and tighten the
frame and all plastic parts.
Optional Accessories

WARNING: Since accessories, other than those
offered by BLACK+DECKER, have not been tested with
this product, use of such accessories with this tool
could be hazardous. To reduce the risk of injury, only
BLACK+DECKER-recommended accessories should be used
with this product.
Consult your dealer for further information on the
appropriate accessories.
