Functions of the BKPF-101CB

The BKPF-101CB A/D converter board converts
analog component video signals to a 4:4:2 component
serial digital video signal.
Signal distribution
The board can distribute the converted digital signal to
four outputs.
Input signal selection
Selecting with switches on the board, any analog
signals of the following four formats can be converted
to a 4:4:2 component serial digital video signal.
• RGB
• YUV CCIR level
• YUV Betacam format with 7.5% setup
• YUV Betacam format with no setup (0% setup)
EDH function
An EDH (Error Detection and Handling) signal is
multiplexed to the 4:4:2 component serial digital video
signal to be output.
ISR function
This board conforms to the format of the ISR
(Interactive Status Reporting) system.

Functions of the BKPF-102CB

The BKPF-102CB D/A converter board converts a
4:4:2 component serial digital video signal to analog
component video signals.
Output signal selection
Selecting with switches on the board, a 4:4:2
component serial digital video signal can be converted
to any analog signals of the following four formats.
• RGB
• YUV CCIR level
• YUV Betacam format with 7.5% setup
• YUV Betacam format with no setup (0% setup)
Note that selecting Betacam format output is effective
only for a digital signal input in 525/60 mode.
Signal distribution
The input digital video signal is distributed to other
four outputs after its waveform has been shaped.
Thus, the board can also be used as a digital signal
distributor.
EDH function
When a signal including an EDH (Error Detection and
Handling) signal is supplied to the input connector,
error detection for the input signal is activated.
ISR function
This board conforms to the format of the ISR
(Interactive Status Reporting) system.
