Manual Structure Purpose of this manual This manual is the installation manual of the BKMA-7030 MPEG Decoder Board and the BKMA-7060 D/A Converter Board. This manual is intended for use by trained system and service engineers, and describes the information regarding installation. -

1-1. Overview 1-1-1. BKMA-7030 The BKMA-7030 MPEG Decoder Board inputs the playback data from the hard disk of MAV-70XGI and decodes its data to the video/audio signals. For video, the video signals are decoded with MPEG2 MP@ML or 4:2:2P@ML compressed video format, and the two-channels SDI video signals and two-channels analog composite video signals (when the BKMA-7060 is used) are output. -

1. Install the BKMA-7060 (DA-143 board) to the General information BKMA-7030 (DEC-98A board) by the four screws . The BKMA-7030 can be inserted into any slot exept slot supplied with the BKMA-7060. No.6 of MAV-70XGI. Perform this procedure when the BKMA-7060 is used. - Page 9 1-2. Board Installation 4.
