Chapter 3: Connecting the 12 Volt Power Over Ethernet
Adapter Kit

Overview

This chapter gives instructions on how to connect the Power
Over Ethernet Kit. Once connected, the Kit will transmit data
and power over the Ethernet network cable to your remotely
located network device.
The diagram shows an example of how the Kit can be
connected to a wired switch and a wireless access point.
If you will connect the Kit to a device with a conventional
power port, proceed to this section, "Powering on a Device that
Uses a Standard Power Adapter." If you will connect the Kit to a
device that supports inline power, proceed to this section,
"Powering on a Device that Uses Inline Power."
