Hoses That Are Not Food-Safe Are Being Used

Cause:
In cooling appliances with icemakers, as well as coffee machines and steam
ovens, intake hoses and extensions are being used that are supposed to only
be used in washers and dishwashers. Warning! These hoses are not food-
safe and are not to be used in steam ovens, coffee machines or cooling
appliances with icemakers.
Series modification:
Intake hoses and extensions for washers and dishwashers are now shipped
with a note saying that they are not to be used in steam ovens, coffee
machines or cooling appliances with icemakers.
Remedy:
Warning!
For cooling appliances with icemakers, as well as coffee machines and
steam ovens, only the following food-safe intake hoses may be used (also
refer to the accessories catalog):
1. For built-in/freestanding cooling appliances with icemakers, as well
as coffee machines and steam ovens:
a. 1.5m, mat. no. 6886371.
2. For built-in/freestanding cooling appliances with icemakers, as well
as coffee machines and steam ovens:
a. 3.0m, mat. no. 6886381.
3. For MasterCool appliances:
a. 30m, mat. no. 7623800.
If the intake hose is not long enough, it can be extended with the help of
stainless-steel connector mat. no. 5644460 (3/4") and an additional intake
hose (#1 or #2).

Lift Panel Not Holding

Symptom:
The lift panel is not staying in its highest position.
Cause:
The telescopic-rail leaf springs are defective.
Remedy:
Install new leaf springs (Figure 040-1, Item 1).
