9. COLD WATER THERMOSTAT ADJUSTMENT

At the back of the unit there is a yellow label that covers the screw to adjust the
cold water thermostat.
WARNING: Adjust the cold water thermostat only if absolutely necessary. Over adjustment
may cause compressor failure and void the warranty.
Factory default temperature setting is 42.8°F (6°C). In order to adjust the cold water
thermostat, break the seal and using a flat screwdriver turn the cold water thermostat screw
NO MORE than 45° clockwise to adjust the default setting to 41°F (5°C). DO NOT turn
over 45°.
COLD WATER THERMOSTAT ADJUSTMENT
WARNING: Adjust the cold water thermostat if absolutely
necessary. Over adjustment may cause compressor failure
and can temper with the energy efficiency of the unit.
Carefully read the instructions in the Owner's Manual to
adjust the cold water thermostat.
-Factory default temperature setting is 42.8º F.
-Rotate the thermostat spigot 45º clockwise to adjust
default setting to 41º F. DO NOT rotate over 45º.
Note: Rotate counterclockwise (0-45º) if the compressor
continues to run for more than 1 hour.
TO ADJUST COLD WATER THERMOSTAT BREAK THE SEAL
(Use a flat screwdriver to adjust)
NOTE: If the compressor runs continuously for more than 1 hour turn the screw
counterclockwise a few degrees (0-45°) until the compressor stops (allow 10 minutes
timeframe after each adjustment for the compressor to stop).
