    Orbi Whole Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System Connect to the Network You can connect to the Orbi network through a wired or WiFi connection. If you set up your computer to use a static IP address, change the settings so that it uses Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).

Before you start the setup process, get your ISP information and make sure that the computers and devices in the network use the settings described here.

    Orbi Whole Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System Set Up an IPv6 Pass Through Internet Connection In pass-through mode, the router works as a Layer 2 Ethernet switch with two ports (LAN and WAN Ethernet ports) for IPv6 packets. The router does not process any IPv6 header packets.

You can set up a DMZ (demilitarized zone) server, change the maximum transmit unit (MTU) size, and enable the router to respond to a ping to its WAN (Internet) port.
