Message
Possible Causes
• Data in memory has
DATA ERROR!
become corrupted for
some reason.
• You are attempting a print
NO INPUT TEXT!
or preview operation
when no text are input.
• The tape became jammed
PRINT ERROR!
during printing.
• You are attempting to
TOO MANY
CHARACTERS!
input more than
80 characters into text.
• The number of characters
you are trying to input
while using Layout
Prinitng exceeds the
maximum number of
allowable characters.
Action
• Press any key besides
ON/OFF to clear the
error message. In
response to the
"INITIALIZE THE
PRINTER!" message
that appears, press any
key besides ON/OFF to
initialize the Label
Printer.
• Input the text and then
try again.
• Turn off the printer and
remove the tape
cartridge. Next, remove
the jammed tape.
* If the steps described
above do not clear the
error message, contact
your retailer or your
nearest CASIO service
center.
• Reduce the number of
characters in the
sentence.
Message
Possible Causes
• You are attempting to
TOO MANY
BLOCKS!
input more than two block
marks (
B
) into text.
• A 6mm or 9mm tape
LOAD A TAPE
12mm OR
cartridge was loaded in
WIDER
the printer while a 2-line
or 2-block format is
selected for Layout
Printing.
• You are attempting to
CLRS TAPE
LNGTH
input a block mark while
SET/ESC
FIX is selected for TAPE
LENGTH.
Action
• Use only one or two
block marks (
B
) in a
single sentence.
• Turn off the printer and
replace the tape
cartridge with one that is
12mm or wider.
• If you want to cancel the
TAPE LENGTH setting
and input a block mark,
press SET. If you do not
want to input a block
mark, press ESC.
